My client is an online Peer to Peer Lending marketplace which offers competitive loans and interest rates for investors. This innovative Fintech business connects investors to loans issued by digital consumer finance companies from various countries in the EU. This opportunity is fully remote with the option to work from an office in Central Dublin.
A new opportunity has been created for a Head of Compliance to report directly to the CEO and Board to work closely with the Central Bank of Ireland on regulatory compliance topics. You will lead on the implementation and integration of the compliance and risk framework throughout the organisation in line with the new European Crowdfunding Regulation (ECFR). As Head of Compliance, you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying risk and advise on strategic improvement opportunities. You’ll work alongside a highly skilled and proactive team to create a built proof compliance program. In addition, this role involves maintaining an active, professional dialogue with the Central Bank of Ireland to ensure effective communication and collaboration in meeting regulatory standards.
Ideally you will have at least 5 years’ experience working in a compliance/regulatory environment with a FinTech business or financial services firm. Have experience of communicating with CBI (Central Bank of Ireland) and understand the new European Crowdfunding Regulation (ECFR). The ideal candidates will have first hand experience of preparing and applying via the CBI (Central Bank of Ireland) for an Irish Banking licence.
This opportunity offers the option to work remotely in the Republic of Ireland on a fulltime of part time basis with excellent flexibility.
